The league will be played to the rules of the World 8-Ball Pool Federation.
League Rules
The name of the league shall be the Basic local league, hereafter known as the league.
The league is a team league for 8 Ball Pool.
It will consist of 2 divisions.
There are 15 teams.
Teams will play each other twice over a total of 14 weeks.
Each match will consist of 12 frames.
There will be 12 frames of singles.
Frames will be played in accordance with the match template.
Matches will be played in sessions of 6 frames.
All 12 Frames shall be played.
3 named reserves are allowed for each match.
Points will be awarded to each team as follows:
1 for each frame.
League table positions will be determined by the following order:
First Points.
Then Frame difference.
If the records for two or more teams are exactly the same then the teams will be separated according to the aggregate result of matches they have played against each other.
Individual player positions will be determined by the following order:
Won.
Played.
Players must play 2 Frames to qualify for inclusion in the player stats.
The following data will also be recorded to award individual performances:
Break/clear.
Balls potted.
MVP (2pts will be awarded).
Fairest player (1pts will be awarded).
The league will be financed as follows:
Teams will pay £125 in total.
Teams will initially pay £25.
Teams will pay £5 each week, up until week 20.
The sponsor will pay £430 in total.
The sponsor will initially pay £25.
The sponsor will pay £10 each week, up until week 38.
